  • Leader of Opposition: From 2013 to 2018, he served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. 

  • Cabinet Minister: Following the INC's victory in the 2018 state elections, Singh Deo was appointed as a Cabinet Minister in Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's government. He was entrusted with key portfolios, including Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education, 20-Point Program Implementation, Commercial Taxes (GST), and Panchayat and Rural Development.
