Ma Huateng, known internationally as Pony Ma, born 29 October 1971 in Chaoyang District, Shantou, Guangdong, China, is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Tencent Holdings — one of the world's largest technology companies (operating WeChat, QQ, Tencent Games including Honor of Kings, Tencent Music, and many other businesses).

His Family

The Ma family is from a Hakka-Chinese background. Pony's father Ma Chenshu was a senior manager at the Shenzhen Communications Bureau; his mother is a homemaker.
